Almost there...

All episodes have been recorded and I am currently editing them. At present I am finishing about 3 a week. At that rate I can submit everything to podiobooks in 2-3 weeks. As soon as I'm finished I will be polishing it he book up a bit and sending it to te proof readers that volunteered. Once it comes back from them I will reesit and submitt it to the Amazon, Apple, Barnes and Noble and Smashwords.

Quick question. What do you usually pay for an ebook? I will price it somewhere between .99 cents and $2.99 . What dobyounthink is fair?

  1. I think you're in the right range. In my opinion, you shouldn't have to pay as much for an ebook as a paper copy because there's less material involved. I'm looking forward to the release date. Definitely can't wait for the podcasts. They're a great way to pass the time while I'm driving my rig.

    1. I am inclined to agree here, an e-copy of a book should be cheaper than the dead-tree variety. Cost though is relative, a higher price will sell less but make more profit per copy. However a low price will sell more at a lower profit margin. All in all you would probably expect to receive the same revenue at whichever price point you sell (.99 or $2.99). I would suggest though that striking happy medium between the two points would be best... $1.99 or even £1.75 (greater perception of value).

      Thats my thoughts.

  5. Hi Bryan, first off, thank you for following me on Twitter (@danielrmitchell)

Having been looking over some of your recent posts here on your blog I confess that I am most intrigued and am looking for to when I get the opportunity to listen to Raising Hell. It will be a while yet though as I have a batch of other podiobooks to get through.
Once I am done I review them over at my blog www.MyEarBooks.net, so when i have read Raising Hell I will let you know when the review has been posted.

If you like you can get in contact with me (via MyEarBooks), I would be happy to receive and post an introduction to Raising Hell there for you. Contact me for the requirements!

Take care Bryan, and keep up the good work.
